In 2018 a total of 6.300 innovations was entered into the competition from companies and designers from 59 countries.

The EXTRA 700 series mower conditioners, with their unique QuattroLink Suspension, was developed using inspiration from the racing world. The suspension concept provides exceptional adaptation to demanding ground contours, enabling higher speed and increased productivity. Additionally the intuitive design of all operating elements, adds to an overall simplicity of the machine.

All of the products are characterised by outstanding functionality. This demonstrates that the designers have understood their clients and their needs”, said Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of the Red Dot Award.
This is the second time within four years that Vicon disc mowers receive a Red Dot Award. This award, along with other prestigious accolades received over the last few years, is proof of Vicon’s dedication in developing next level mower design.
